This is what leads to a lot of addictions, right?
Chronic migraines. Pop a pill.
Back pain. Pills every 4-6 hours.
Anxiety. Take a pill.
Depression. Take your pick of prescriptions.
We now live in a society where this is the norm. We’ve forgotten that not too long ago this type of pain management didn’t exist. And this post is in no way, shape or form shaming you if you are on this road of pain management. I’m offering a gentle reminder that this does not have to be your life. There are so many other natural ways to get some relief.
I have spoken to many clients who were addicted to oxy because they couldn’t get out of bed due to their pounding head. Couldn’t live a normal life. Had to stop working and couldn’t attend family events. Now with specific exercise, breathing methods, healthy eating with a glass of lavender lemonade, and some homemade salve they are living a much happier and more manageable life.
